Notes from Second Chance Dog Rescue

Meet Chance! He is a 2-year-old, 36 lb. Beagle/Retriever mix with the sweetest personality and so much love to give. Chance is an incredibly affectionate, playful, and happy boy who just wants to be wherever his people are. Chance absolutely loves his toys, especially his stuffed animals, and one of his favorite things to do is run around proudly with a toy in his mouth. He's the perfect mix of playful and cuddly. He loves belly rubs, relaxing on the couch, and spending time with his favorite people. He's also very friendly with people and loves greeting new friends! Chance is mostly potty trained and does well going potty in his foster family's backyard, but he's still learning to go potty on a leash during walks. He enjoys getting outside and exploring, though he's still working on his leash manners. He is crate trained and may whine a little at first before settling down. He knows "sit" and is currently learning "stay" and "come." When meeting other dogs, Chance can be a little shy and may hide when he's unsure, but he warms up with time and has not shown aggression. He has not been tested with cats. Chance would do best in a home where someone is around for much of the day, as he loves being close to his people. He's a sweet, goofy, affectionate boy who will bring so much joy to the right family. With a little patience and continued training, Chance will make an incredibly loving and loyal companion. He's ready to find his forever home and give someone all the love he has to offer! He is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on his vaccinations. His adoption fee is $300.
