Notes from Forte Animal Rescue

My name is Pippa, and I’m beautiful, spoiled, and pretty good at getting my way! My favorite hobbies include playing ball, going for car rides, eating, and chasing my foster family’s cats (although I’m not quite sure what I’d do if I ever caught one!). I also love kids—and their parents, too! I do have one little habit you should know about: I love chewing on anything left on the floor. So, the rule is simple: Pick up your shoes, or I’ll pick them up for you!

Oh, and apparently, I’m what humans call a “night owl.” I prefer sleeping during the day and being active at night. Hopefully, you can help me get my beauty sleep on a more conventional schedule! If you’re looking for a beautiful girl with a playful spirit, a mischievous streak, and plenty of personality, I just might be your perfect match!

Another thing, (not to brag) but I am extremely smart and anytime I need to go outside I let my human know so she can open the door for me. In exchange, I let her know if anyone comes to the door! I'm looking for a home of my own and would be pleased to meet you.

If you are interested in meeting Pippa, please download the Adoption Questionnaire, fill it out and email it back to us at info@farescue.org or fax (310) 362-0321. You can also meet this and/or other available dogs at our weekend adoptions.

[Pippa is 9 months old and weighs 28 lbs.]

What happens next

  1. Contact Forte Animal Rescue using the button. AdoptNearby does not take applications.
  2. They will send you their application or ask a few questions about your home.
  3. Most organizations arrange a meet, sometimes a home visit, then a small adoption fee that usually covers spay or neuter and vaccines. That fee is paid to Forte Animal Rescue, never to AdoptNearby.
  4. Read the dogs care guide so you arrive prepared.
