Notes from Oakland Animal Services
Meet Cora, a lovely senior husky mix with a gentle, easygoing nature! 11 years old and 55 pounds, this beautiful girl has a calm presence and has been comfortable with staff and volunteers handling, petting, and walking her at the shelter. She’s also shown a relaxed, friendly approach to meeting other dogs, responding calmly when another dog set boundaries.
Cora could be a wonderful companion for someone looking to share life with a mature pup. She may do well with a compatible canine companion or as a solo dog with opportunities to make dog friends.
Cora's new family should plan a veterinary visit to discuss her dental health and any additional care she may need. If you have a soft spot for sweet senior dogs, meet Cora and see if she’s the companion you’ve been looking for!
