Popeye
Yorkshire Terrier Yorkie (medium coat) · Adult · Male · Small · Mission Viejo, CA
Notes from New Beginnings for Animals
Popeye was found a stray and turned in to a high-skill animal shelter. He is estimated to be between 6-8 years old and weighs just 7 pounds. He is a little rascal and a great companion. He is very easygoing and personable. Popeye gets along well with other dogs. He is missing an eye, but has vision from the other eye. It appears as though he was born that way, but will be having an evaluation with an ophthalmologist. Popeye has his frisky moments, but mostly likes to cuddle with you.
Popeye has a fear of the leash and will not walk on one. We will be working with him slowly so he can get used to it. It would be best for him to be in a home with a yard.
If you are interested in meeting Popeye, please complete the adoption application on our website, www.greatpets.org. Popeye’s $300 adoption donation includes his Vet exam, neuter surgery, dental cleaning, vaccinations, fecal exam, and microchip.
