Notes from Forte Animal Rescue
I have a familiar story, but not such a familiar background. My elderly mom was no longer able to care for me, and her family’s dog doesn’t like other dogs, so they brought me to Forte to find a new home. I’m a classic Shih Tzu and really friendly with everyone! The unusual thing about me is that I’m an AKC purebred with a pedigree and certificate. It doesn’t mean much to a dog, but apparently some humans think it’s important—kind of like designer bags!
