Notes from United Hope for Animals

#A5798575 Meet Leia, a gorgeous 3-year-old German Shepherd girl with a beautiful black-and-tan coat that looks like velvety caramel sprinkled with deep black cocoa powder! With her perky ears and long, lean frame, this girl clearly likes to stay active and could make an excellent exercise buddy - as long as she gets some chill cuddle time in return! Leia has a wonderfully sweet and friendly personality, wanting nothing more than to be close to her people and happily soaking up every bit of attention she can get. She also seems to enjoy the company of other dogs, and with careful, thoughtful introductions, she could make a wonderful little sister to another pup. ❤️ Calm, laid-back, and always happy to go with the flow, Leia is the kind of easygoing girl who could fit beautifully into practically any home or family! Will that be with you?

– 3 year old black and tan German Shepherd

- 52 pound spayed female

- May need the standard round of shots and preventatives before she can go home with you, but the shelter can likely help with this!

- Came to the Baldwin Park Animal Care Center on 9/17/26 as an internal transfer from another shelter - we’re hoping Leia gets seen more quickly here with us!

-very sweet and mellow, with a calm and chill personality

-seems to get along well with other pups, especially those with similar personalities!

-fabulous on leash, seems to have had some training
