Notes from United Hope for Animals

#A5792147 Pressure is a 1-year, 3-month-old, 84 lb neutered male Pitbull who is still very much a giant puppy! He's currently URGENT as one of the shelter's longest-listed dogs and needs someone to give this big, lovable boy a chance.

Pressure is friendly, playful, and does well with large dogs. He knows "sit" and "paw" and will happily offer a paw when treats are involved! He's easy to leash and enjoys getting out, but he's young, and will benefit from continued training, exercise, and structure. Pressure needs an adults-only home without cats where he can get plenty of activity and attention.

What happens next

  1. Contact United Hope for Animals using the button. AdoptNearby does not take applications.
  2. They will send you their application or ask a few questions about your home.
  3. Most organizations arrange a meet, sometimes a home visit, then a small adoption fee that usually covers spay or neuter and vaccines. That fee is paid to United Hope for Animals, never to AdoptNearby.
  4. Read the dogs care guide so you arrive prepared.
