Notes from Burbank Animal Shelter

Macy Mae is so friendly and very excited to meet new people. So excited, in fact, that she'll jump up and down, but once you're with her for a few minutes she settles right down. She likes pets (including belly rubs) and likes to cuddle up against you. She can be a little mouthy at times, but she takes treats *so* gently. She's also very smart. We practiced `sit` and she either already knew it or was a very quick learner. I think she'll be easy to train as she focuses on treats well and is patient. She'd likely benefit from a home where she can get enough activity (both physical and mental). To schedule an appointment to meet Jess please reach out to our foster coordinator at vbasfosterinfo@gmail.com.

What happens next

  1. Contact Burbank Animal Shelter using the button. AdoptNearby does not take applications.
  2. They will send you their application or ask a few questions about your home.
  3. Most organizations arrange a meet, sometimes a home visit, then a small adoption fee that usually covers spay or neuter and vaccines. That fee is paid to Burbank Animal Shelter, never to AdoptNearby.
  4. Read the dogs care guide so you arrive prepared.
