Notes from The Barking Lot
Meet Lolita! DOB: January 2024Weight: 53lbsDisposition: Active, Playful, AffectionateGood With: Children and DogsFavorite Things: Running, playing, and outdoor adventuresLolita’s story started under the toughest circumstances when she and her siblings, Lili and Ballita, were left outside the Manzanillo shelter in a taped-up box as newborn puppies. She has spent her entire two and a half years growing up in the shelter, but despite never having a home of her own, her sweet spirit and love for life are untouched. Lolita is a lively, fun-loving girl whose enthusiasm for the world is contagious. A bit standoffish at first with new faces, it doesn't take long for her true personality to shine. Once she feels safe and comfortable, her playful, affectionate side takes over! She is eager to please, responds wonderfully to positive attention and training, and is ready to show a family just how smart and devoted she can be. Watching this resilient girl step out of the shelter and blossom into a confident, happy family member is going to be an unbelievably rewarding experience. Ideal HomeLolita would thrive with an active, loving family who can give her the guidance and attention she’s waited her whole life to receive. Her perfect match includes:An Active Lifestyle: A family that enjoys daily walks, running, games of fetch, and outdoor adventures to help burn off her healthy energy. A Supportive & Patient Environment: An adopter willing to invest time into her continued training and confidence-building as she adjusts to life outside the shelter. A Fun Household: She gets along great with both kids and other dogs, making her a wonderful fit for a lively home full of companionship.
