Notes from The Barking Lot

Meet Panchita! DOB: June 2024Weight: 18lbsDisposition: Sweet, Calm, SnugglyMeet Panchita, a sweet and gentle girl with a stunning, lustrous coat who is ready to find a forever home where she can truly settle in. Rescued after surviving a scary fall down a hillside, she has shown incredible resilience and proven to be a remarkably quiet, easygoing companion. Panchita is the definition of a loving soul; her expressive eyes draw you right in, and she absolutely adores being showered with affection, gentle petting, and tasty treats. She enjoys life’s simple pleasures—whether that's a leisurely neighborhood stroll, soaking up love from her people, or simply relaxing by your side. Highly food-motivated and wonderfully low-key, Panchita gets along well with other dogs and would thrive in a peaceful, affectionate home. If you are looking for a calm, cuddly, and devoted partner to brighten your days, Panchita is ready to give you her whole heart. Interested in adopting? If you're interested in meeting Panchita, please visit our website to fill out an adoption application: www.thebarkinglot.net/adopt. Our dogs are located in San Diego County, CA. We will happily consider out of town applications and can conduct virtual play dates with interested adopters. We have monthly transport to various locations in the Pacific Northwest, individual arrangements would need to be made for other locations across the US and Canada. About Angeles en CaminoThis dog is part of Angeles en Camino ("Angels on the Way"), a cross-border rescue mission bringing adoptable dogs from Manzanillo, Mexico, to loving homes in Southern California. Sponsored by the Mayor's Office of Manzanillo and made possible through a partnership between Animal Angels ZLO and The Barking Lot, this initiative gives vulnerable dogs a second chance at life while connecting two communities through rescue. To initiate the adoption process for this dog, please complete our online application by clicking below. Your adoption coordinator will respod to you via email once they receive your application: www.thebarkinglot.net/adopt
