Very curious and independent Loves to snuggle and has a very sweet nature Great with men, women, and children (he is used to all in our home) Loves other dogs (extremely playful and loved our 1-year-old lab) Is not food aggressive or toy aggressive (shares well with our lab) Sleeps 6-8 hours in a crate at night Nearly potty trained – he goes to the door to go out to pee (but still has accidents) Loves being in the backyard and does well alone Does well fenced off in the house, and will use potty pads when left fenced off indoors Already sits and stays for food and treats Very food motivated, so easy to train

If you are interested in adopting this dog please visit this link to get the adoption process started.

We hold adoption events from San Francisco to the South Bay. Most dogs will be ready to go home the day of the adoption event. We accept credit cards and cash for our adoption fees. While adoption events are a great showcase for these amazing dogs, you don't need an adoption event to adopt a dog. Check out our adoptable pups, submit an application, and then meet them at their foster home!

We try to post the dogs that are attending on Facebook before the event, please visit and like us on Facebook.

What happens next

  1. Contact Coppers Dream using the button. AdoptNearby does not take applications.
  2. They will send you their application or ask a few questions about your home.
  3. Most organizations arrange a meet, sometimes a home visit, then a small adoption fee that usually covers spay or neuter and vaccines. That fee is paid to Coppers Dream, never to AdoptNearby.
  4. Read the dogs care guide so you arrive prepared.
