Notes from Sacramento County Animal Care and Regulation
Run, Snack, Repeat! Meet Rocko—Senior Discount, Puppy Energy! Someone forgot to tell Rocko he's a senior! This fun-loving guy apparently missed the memo about slowing down and would much rather spend his golden years running, playing, and living his best puppy life. Rocko LOVES to run and has a particular fondness for toys, although his relationship with stuffies is a little...complicated. One minute they're best friends, the next he's performing an unsolicited stuffing removal. Even a hefty rope toy wasn't safe from his remodeling skills! This talented toy surgeon needs durable, non-stuffed toys and supervision to keep him from sampling his handiwork. He's also a fan of treats and happens to be an excellent catcher. Toss him a snack and watch those skills shine! When playtime was over, Rocko needed a little convincing to head back to his kennel. Can you blame the guy? He's got places to run, things to do, and a whole lot of life left to enjoy! If you're looking for a spirited senior with the enthusiasm of a youngster and a talent for making you laugh, Rocko is ready to rock your world! A handsome friendly senior boy. Rocko has participated in shelter playgroups and may enjoy a compatible canine friend in his new home. Looking for a buddy for your dog? Bring him/her to the shelter for a meet and greet and see if we're a match!
