Notes from Sacramento County Animal Care and Regulation

Neve Campbell Is Playing Hard to GetMeet Neve Campbell—Interested, But Not Desperate! At 4 years old, Neve Campbell is a lovely Husky lady who believes relationships should develop naturally. She's not rushing into anything, and she certainly wouldn't want to come across as—heaven forbid—NEEDY!Neve is a little shy and could use some TLC, but she'd prefer you offer it without making a big fuss. She accepts pets in moderation, thank you very much. She's a Husky, after all, and has a reputation for independence to maintain. She's a lovely walking companion, doesn't react to passing dogs, and shares her kennel with another pup who apparently has no complaints about their living arrangement. Toys? Not particularly interesting at the moment. Treats? Now we're talking! Neve even enjoyed working on a treat puzzle, proving she's got brains behind that beautiful face. As she settles into a home, her playful side may emerge—or she may remain a sophisticated lady who prefers snacks and leisurely strolls. Either way, Neve is worth getting to know. She's not looking for a whirlwind romance. Just someone patient enough to let her fall in love at her own pace. Neve has participated in shelter playgroups and may enjoy a compatible canine friend in her new home. Looking for a buddy for your dog? Bring him/her to the shelter for a meet and greet and see if we're a match! Check out her playgroup video here:To meet me, visit the Bradshaw Animal Shelter Tuesday-Sunday, Noon - 5:00 pm, Wednesdays, Noon - 6:00 pm. All adoptions are on a first-come, first-served basis. To help expedite the meet and greet process, please make note of my Animal ID number, and those of other dogs you might be interested in meeting. Be sure to bring your ID with you, too. We are located at 3839 Bradshaw Road, Sacramento. I look forward to getting to know you!
