Notes from City of Sacramento Animal Care Services

Goober's adoption fee has been paid for with a donation from Tim PantleMeet Goober! Goober is a fun-loving 2-year-old with a goofy personality that's sure to make you smile. He's always curious about the world around him, so don't be surprised if he gets distracted checking out the sights on a walk instead of focusing on his treats! Goober enjoys getting outside and walks nicely with guidance. He's still polishing his leash manners, but he redirects well when asked, especially when treats are involved. He's already mastered sit and down—although he somehow forgets everything the moment a camera comes out! When it's playtime, Goober loves carrying around his favorite stuffie toys and happily chases after tennis balls. Retrieving them? Well...he hasn't quite figured out why anyone would bring the ball back! After a little fun, he's more than happy to soak up pets and attention from his favorite people. If you're looking for a young, affectionate dog with a playful spirit, a silly sense of humor, and lots of potential, Goober may be the perfect addition to your family. Come meet him—you'll quickly see why everyone falls for this lovable goofball!
