Notes from Forte Animal Rescue

I’m Bolda, and I came to Forte with the help of some good people after my human abandoned me. I have no idea why. I mean, I’m perfect: beautiful, calm, friendly, and I love going for walks and playing with other dogs. They don’t really know how big I’ll get, but they keep talking about my big paws. So, don’t be surprised — you never know how I’ll turn out! One thing’s for sure: I’m already pretty fabulous.

If you are interested in meeting Bolda, please download the Adoption Questionnaire, fill it out and email it back to us at info@farescue.org or fax (310) 362-0321. You can also meet this and/or other available dogs at our weekend adoptions.

[Bolda is about 6 months old and weighs 36 lbs.]

What happens next

  1. Contact Forte Animal Rescue using the button. AdoptNearby does not take applications.
  2. They will send you their application or ask a few questions about your home.
  3. Most organizations arrange a meet, sometimes a home visit, then a small adoption fee that usually covers spay or neuter and vaccines. That fee is paid to Forte Animal Rescue, never to AdoptNearby.
  4. Read the dogs care guide so you arrive prepared.
