Notes from Second Chance Dog Rescue

Meet Yogi! This 12-year-old, 6 lb. Chihuahua is a sweet, funny little companion who loves cuddles, walks, and the occasional stuffed toy to destroy.

Yogi enjoys getting out for a walk, though he doesn’t need to go far. He’s a little shy when meeting new people, but he warms up quickly and soon becomes your shadow. He lives happily with a small dog and a cat. The cat would love to play with him; Yogi mostly ignores her.

He’s quiet and calm enough to tag along on outings and has enjoyed cross-country meets, pub trivia nights, and restaurants. He can also stay home comfortably in his pen. At bedtime, he’ll sleep in the pen, but he’d much rather snuggle up with his people.

Yogi’s potty training is still a work in progress, and he tolerates belly bands well. He is neutered and up to date on vaccinations. His adoption fee is $200.

If you’re looking for a gentle, playful little shadow to share your days with, Yogi would love to meet you.
