Notes from Second Chance Dog Rescue

Meet Maisie! Maisie is an adorable Boxer/Pit Bull Terrier mix who was born on June 30, 2026. She currently weighs about 15 pounds and is still growing.

Maisie is a happy, playful puppy with LOTS of puppy energy! She loves to run, jump, wrestle, explore, and play whenever she is awake. She does well with other dogs and would especially enjoy having a younger, playful canine companion who can keep up with her energy.

For a young puppy, Maisie is already doing great with her routine. She sleeps through the night and is making wonderful progress with potty training. She uses pee pads inside her enclosure and will also let you know when she needs to go outside. She may still have an occasional accident when she gets a little too busy playing, but she is learning quickly.

Between Maisie and her sister Millie, Maisie is the slightly crazier one of the pair — in the very best puppy way! She is silly, energetic, curious, and always ready for the next adventure. Once she has burned off some of that puppy energy, she is happy to settle in with her people.

Maisie is spayed and up to date on vaccinations. Her adoption fee is $350.

A refundable $100 training deposit is also required at the time of adoption. Training must be completed in a timely manner to help ensure our puppies grow into happy, well-mannered canine citizens. The training deposit will be refunded when the training requirement is completed within three months of the adoption date.

If you are ready for puppy kisses, puppy zoomies, lots of playtime, and the fun of watching a sweet young dog grow into an amazing companion, Maisie may be your girl!
