Notes from Melita's Dream Animal Rescue

Meet Tommy – A Sweet French Bulldog Looking for His Forever Home!

Tommy is a handsome French Bulldog who was rescued from East Valley Animal Shelter just in time. He was facing euthanasia, but thankfully, he was given a second chance at life.

Tommy is about 4.5 years old and weighs approximately 25 lbs. He is a sweet boy who is vaccinated, microchipped, and neutered.

Tommy is not dog-friendly at this time. When he sees other dogs, he may bark and pull toward them, so we are looking for a home where he can be the only dog. Because French Bulldogs can have their own unique personalities and temperaments, we are especially looking for someone with Frenchie experience.

Tommy would do best: • As the only dog • In a home without small children • With an adopter or foster experienced with French Bulldogs • With someone patient and willing to continue helping him succeed

Tommy deserves a loving home where he can feel safe, understood, and cherished. ❤️

If you are interested in adopting, fostering, or foster-to-adopting Tommy, please contact Melita’s Dream Animal Rescue.

What happens next

  1. Contact Melita's Dream Animal Rescue using the button. AdoptNearby does not take applications.
  2. They will send you their application or ask a few questions about your home.
  3. Most organizations arrange a meet, sometimes a home visit, then a small adoption fee that usually covers spay or neuter and vaccines. That fee is paid to Melita's Dream Animal Rescue, never to AdoptNearby.
  4. Read the dogs care guide so you arrive prepared.
