Notes from Second Chance Dog Rescue

Meet Chewy! Chewy is a 10-year-old, 9 lb. Shih Tzu who may technically be a senior, but you’d never know it from his energy! This happy little guy has the enthusiasm of a much younger pup and loves being right in the middle of whatever is going on.

Chewy is incredibly affectionate, friendly, and loves being close to his people. He gets along wonderfully with everyone he meets and is also great with other dogs, making him an easy addition to a home with canine companions. He loves being part of the pack and will happily follow his people around the house, always ready for attention, affection, or the next adventure.

Potty training is still a work in progress, and Chewy previously did some marking, but he is already showing great improvement with consistency and routine. He may not have any teeth, but that certainly doesn’t slow him down! He happily eats wet food with a little kibble mixed in and keeps up with the household routine just fine.

Sweet, social, energetic, and full of personality, Chewy is a wonderful little companion who has plenty of love and life left to share. If you’re looking for an affectionate best friend who gets along with people and dogs alike, Chewy just might be your guy!

Chewy is neutered and up to date on his vaccinations. His adoption fee is $200.
