Notes from Second Chance Dog Rescue

Meet Sushi! Sushi is a 7 year old, 14 lb. miniature poodle with a big personality packed into one adorable little body. He's happy, affectionate, playful, and loves being apart of whatever his people are doing. Whether that's running around the yard, playing, or curling up nearby for some cuddle time, Sushi is happiest when he's with his humans. Sushi gets along well with everyone 2 and 4 legged alike. He is eager to please and is continuing to work on his basic commands and potty training. Sushi loves companionship and can become anxious when left alone for longer periods, so he would be happiest in a home where someone is around much of time. When his foster family does need to leave, he feels most comfortable and secure in his crate.

Potty training is still a work in progress, and Sushi currently wears belly bands indoors while he continues learning his routine. With consistency, patience, and plenty of positive reinforcement, he is making progress and learning what is expected of him. At night, Sushi settles in nicely on his bed next to his foster mom.

If you're looking for a playful, loving companion who will happily follow you from room to room and make himself part of the family, Sushi may just be your guy. He's ready for a patient, loving home that will continue helping him build his confidence to succeed. He is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on his vaccinations. His adoption fee is $300.
