Notes from Hope For China Dogs Rescue

Boomer is all smiles while he continues to wait for his forever home… Just look at that face. Boomer is smart, athletic, affectionate, loyal, and very eager to please. It has been such a pleasure getting to hang with him at coffee club last few months but what we really want for him is to find his forever home! He’s looking for a home with someone who: Loves an active, adventure-filled dog Is open to a dog-friendly pup who enjoys canine friends Can provide structure, consistency + clear expectations Wants a loyal, people-loving best friendBoomer is off-leash trained and loves to learn. He’s done a ton of work with his foster + trainer @tazk9academy and is ready for his person! He’s also a total pro out in the world — easy to handle on leash around dogs and people and loves adventures like beach days, coffee shops, and hikes. Transparency matters: Boomer has a history of resource guarding, so he needs an experienced person who understands dogs and can balance structure, adventure, and affection. If you’re looking for a loyal adventure buddy, Boomer would love to meet you.
