Notes from Santa Barbara County Animal Services - Lompoc

All I want for the holidays is to see Levy HOME! Meet Levy, a 3-year-old Queensland Heeler who has been waiting far too long for her happily ever after. She is currently our longest-stay resident at the Lompoc Shelter, and I would love nothing more than to see her spending the holidays with a family of her own. Levy is a sweet, intelligent girl with all the classic cattle dog personality! She does well with small dogs and larger dogs who enjoy a rough-and-rowdy play style. She’s even had a few positive experiences with cats, so a feline friend may be possible with slow, thoughtful introductions. Like many cattle dogs, Levy has her quirks. She’s looking for someone who understands her breed, respects her boundaries, and is willing to earn her trust at her pace. A home without young children would be ideal. Know someone with a ranch, some land, or simply a love for cattle dogs? Levy might just be the missing piece they’ve been looking for. She doesn’t need a perfect home. She needs the right home, with someone who sees how special she truly is. Santa Barbara County Animal Services – Lompoc ShelterTuesday–Sunday | 10 AM–5 PMAvailable for adoption! Please share Levy’s story! You never know who might see this post and become the person she’s been waiting for.
