Notes from Central Valley Rescue Railroad

Talon is young, has plenty of energy, and loves to be near his people. He has been in a foster home for several weeks now and doing very well. He uses the pet doors and is almost house trained but is also taken out frequently. Talon loves to drape himself over you when you sit down. He loves playing with the other dogs, treats, playing fetch with balls, and any petting from people will settle him like a baby. He was born from a small litter here at CVRR and we would like to see him and his brother adopted soon. They are so deserving of a good home. They both have little gold flecks in their fur, which is kind of unusual. Due to the high demand for puppies we anticipate multiple applications for each pup. Our volunteers will review each submitted application, then contact the top 3 most appropriate ones by either email or phone. Calling or emailing us to see if you are being considered will not expedite the process. If you have been selected for an interview we will contact you within 48 hours of submission. Thanks for your patience. You will be required to complete your puppies vaccine series . If you are interested in adopting one of our puppies you will need to complete our online application at www.cvrr.us

What happens next

  1. Contact Central Valley Rescue Railroad using the button. AdoptNearby does not take applications.
  2. They will send you their application or ask a few questions about your home.
  3. Most organizations arrange a meet, sometimes a home visit, then a small adoption fee that usually covers spay or neuter and vaccines. That fee is paid to Central Valley Rescue Railroad, never to AdoptNearby.
  4. Read the dogs care guide so you arrive prepared.
