Meet Micah: The Gentle Soul Looking for a Quiet Spot!
Hello there! My name is Micah , and I am a sweet, affectionate, and slightly shy boy looking for a forever home where I can blossom. I am a true "velcro dog" who loves nothing more than being right by your side, getting ear scratches, and being your loyal companion.
About Me:
Personality: I am a gentle, loving soul with a slightly shy, sensitive side. I can be a bit timid when I first meet new people or experience new situations, but I warm up quickly and am eager to trust. Likes: Snuggling, belly rubs, taking quiet walks, and chewing on bones. Dislikes: Loud noises and chaotic environments make me nervous. I prefer a calm atmosphere. Best Friend Potential: I am great with other dogs! I actually thrive with another dog in the household to show me the ropes and share a cozy bed with.
Training & Manners: I am a very well-behaved walker! I walk beautifully on a leash and am excellent at holding a nice heel by your side. I am a smart boy and very treat-motivated, making me easy to teach and eager to please.
My Ideal Home: I am looking for a quiet, low-traffic home where I can feel safe and secure. A calm home with adults or older kids would be perfect for me. If you have another dog, I would love to meet them to see if we are a match.
If you have a comfy spot on the couch and a quiet home, I promise to fill your life with loyalty, gentle cuddles, and endless affection.
Come meet me!

- They will send you their application or ask a few questions about your home.
- Most organizations arrange a meet, sometimes a home visit, then a small adoption fee that usually covers spay or neuter and vaccines. That fee is paid to Rescue Ranch, never to AdoptNearby.
- Read the dogs care guide so you arrive prepared.
