Notes from Melita's Dream Animal Rescue

Meet Dirk – A Resilient and Loving Companion! ❤️

Dirk is a 6.5-year-old Chinese Shar-Pei/Black Mouth Cur mix who recently came to us from Lancaster Animal Shelter. He weighs approximately 46 lbs and is vaccinated, microchipped, and neutered.

Despite having a difficult past, including being injured during a kennel incident with another dog, Dirk has remained an incredibly sweet, loving, and friendly boy. His right side was shaved while he received treatment, but he is healing well and showing just how strong his spirit is. ❤️

Dirk is great with people and other dogs and is ready for a loving forever home where he can feel safe, cherished, and part of a family.

Dirk is looking for his forever home!

If you are interested in adopting or fostering-to-adopt Dirk, please contact Melita’s Dream Animal Rescue.
