Maude

Some dogs survive the unimaginable and somehow come through it still willing to give their whole heart. Maude is one of those dogs.

This scrappy little terrier was found after being dumped on the streets alongside other dogs who sadly didn't survive. Maude had significant injuries of her own, believed to be from an animal attack, but this determined little girl wasn't ready to give up. A kind person stepped in, got her to safety, and eventually Maude found her way to OURS—and the second chance she fought so hard for.

Today, Maude is ready for something she's never truly had: a person and a home that are hers forever.

Maude doesn't hand her heart over the second you meet her—and considering everything she's been through, we think she's earned the right to take a minute. But once she decides you're safe, something beautiful happens. Her walls come down, her loyal little heart opens up, and she becomes the kind of companion who simply wants to be wherever you are.

Maude isn't looking for a house full of excitement. She's looking for her human. Someone to walk beside, relax with, follow from room to room, and finally know she never has to worry about being left behind again.
