Meet Sweetheart - and yes, he lives up to his name! Sweetheart is a handsome tan Chihuahua who recently came into rescue after his owner passed away. He is chipped, uo-to-date on shots and neutered. Sweetheart would love a home with a gentle owner where he can feel safe and cherished once again. Though initially shy, Sweetheart has a gentle and affectionate soul. Once he feels secure, he loves to be touched, gives the sweetest kisses, and will happily come to you for affection. Sweetheart would also thrive with a family who can give him the love, patience, and gentle care he deserves. He likes going outdoors, sniffing around the yard, and exploring at his own pace and can use a dog door. With time and love, he will blossom into a loyal and loving companion who will make a wonderful addition to a quiet and patient family.

Sweetheart is currently being fostered in San Bernardino County, CA. For adoption inquiries, please email AlphaDogPetRescue@yahoo.com and ask for our adoption application. His adoption fee is $250.

What happens next

  1. Contact Dogz In Need using the button. AdoptNearby does not take applications.
  2. They will send you their application or ask a few questions about your home.
  3. Most organizations arrange a meet, sometimes a home visit, then a small adoption fee that usually covers spay or neuter and vaccines. That fee is paid to Dogz In Need, never to AdoptNearby.
  4. Read the dogs care guide so you arrive prepared.
