Notes from Labradors and Friends Dog Rescue Group

They say an apple a day keeps the doctor away, but we think one Apple might just make your life a whole lot sweeter.

Forever Home Wanted: Meet Apple!

Apple came into the shelter as a stray, and this soulful girl has been patiently waiting for someone to notice her. Lucky for Apple, we did.

She was listed as a 4-year-old Black Lab, but her DNA age test tells a different story: this beautiful girl is estimated to be 11 years old. And we think her age is just another reason to appreciate everything special about her.

Apple isn’t looking for a life of chaos and constant adventure. She’s happiest taking leisurely walks, staying close to her person, and enjoying the simple things. She’d do best as the only pet in the home and won’t be a candidate for dog parks or beach outings.

If your idea of the perfect dog is a loyal companion, a walking buddy who keeps the pace, and a sweet soul who just wants to belong, Apple may be your girl.

Give this deserving senior the forever home she’s been waiting for. Apply at www.labradorsandfriends.org/adopt.

Apple is located in Southern California.
