Meet Duke — The Life of the Party and Your New Best Friend

Say hello to Duke! This social boy is house trained, crate trained and knows his basics (Sit, Down, etc.). He's even been introduced to cats! Duke's two favorite activities are cuddling with people and playing with other dogs. He’s excellent on leash — the kind of dog anyone would be proud to walk down the street. And since he absolutely loves meeting new people he's truly a dog you can take anywhere!

Duke is full of confidence, charm, and playful energy. From the moment you meet him, his bright eyes and wagging tail will make you smile. Whether he’s chasing toys, exploring the yard, going for walks, or curling up for snuggles, Duke’s enthusiasm and affection are completely contagious.

He’s great with kids and other dogs, making him a wonderful fit for a loving, active family. Duke is also smart and eager to learn, and with continued guidance and love he’ll grow into a loyal, well-mannered companion who’s always ready for the next adventure.

Duke is looking for a family that can match his playful spirit, share in his curiosity, and give him all the love and snuggles he deserves.

If you’re ready for laughter, adventure, and a whole lot of love, Duke is ready to steal your heart — and maybe even your favorite spot on the couch.

Thank you for considering adopting a Rescue Ranch dog. While they are with us, each and every rescue dog receives the best of care in a loving and nurturing environment. Their routines include daily playgroups or partnering with dog buddies, quality time walking or being groomed, and two meals a day with dog biscuits for dessert.

What happens next

  1. Contact Rescue Ranch using the button. AdoptNearby does not take applications.
  2. They will send you their application or ask a few questions about your home.
  3. Most organizations arrange a meet, sometimes a home visit, then a small adoption fee that usually covers spay or neuter and vaccines. That fee is paid to Rescue Ranch, never to AdoptNearby.
  4. Read the dogs care guide so you arrive prepared.
