Notes from WoofDenRescue
Meet Dottie!
"Hi everybody, I’m Dottie! I'm a 4-year-old Siberian Husky with a wonderfully relaxed and chill soul. I love a good adventure—whether we're heading out on a scenic hike or going on fun little trips to the store—but I also know how to happily snuggle up and settle right down when nighttime rolls around. I’m fully crate-trained, house-trained, and get along wonderfully with other dogs my own size. (Just so you know, I’d do best in a home without small dogs or cats, as we aren't quite sure how I'd feel about them!)
People often share scary stories about Huskies, but please don't let those myths fool you out of finding true love. Come take a walk on the wild side and open your heart to a Husky—I promise you will be so glad you did!"
Your Journey to Bringing Dottie Home:
Take the first step: Head over to our website at www.woofden.org to fill out our adoption questionnaire.
Connect with her foster: Once your application is reviewed, her foster parent will reach out to share stories and chat during a warm phone interview.
Meet your match: If everything feels right on the call, we’ll arrange a special meet-and-greet so you can meet Dottie in person.
Welcome your best friend: After a positive final home check and adoption fee, she is officially yours—and you've gained a new best friend forever!

What happens next
- Contact WoofDenRescue using the button. AdoptNearby does not take applications.
- They will send you their application or ask a few questions about your home.
- Most organizations arrange a meet, sometimes a home visit, then a small adoption fee that usually covers spay or neuter and vaccines. That fee is paid to WoofDenRescue, never to AdoptNearby.
- Read the dogs care guide so you arrive prepared.
