Notes from Second Chance Dog Rescue
Meet CareBear! This 8 year old, 38 lb. cattle dog is a fun, energetic girl with a big personality and an even bigger love for playtime! Whether she is chasing a ball in the backyard, playing with her favorite toys, or enjoying a trip to the park, this girl is always ready for adventure. She's quick to greet new people, even visitors she's meeting for the very first time. CareBear is crate trained at night and does well settling in for bedtime. She's happiest with a little structure and consistancy in her routine, and like many of us, she appreciates having a little time to wake up in the morning before jumping into the day. Once she's ready, she'll happily seek you out for belly rubs, head scratches and affection.
CareBear can be sensitive about having her personal space respected, particularly when she is resting or not in the mood for attention. Because of this, she's looking for a dog-savvy adopter who understands cattle dog behavior, and will allow her to communicate when she needs some space.
CareBear would be a wonderful match for someone looking for an active, playful companion who can also appreciate a girl who knows what she wants. Give her structure, patience, and respect she needs, and you'll get one very special pup in return.
CareBear is up to date on all vaccinations, spayed, and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $300.
