Notes from Labradors and Friends Dog Rescue Group
Meet Lucy!
Lucy was adopted from us in 2023, and unfortunately, due to both a death and an illness in her family, her family was no longer able to care for her. She was surrendered to the Humane Society, who then reached out to us.
Our amazing volunteers worked together to get Lucy safely back into our care. She is safe, but she is currently in boarding - and that's not where this sweet girl belongs.
Lucy is so used to being in a home, surrounded by her people, and we would love nothing more than to get her into a loving foster home as soon as possible.
Lucy is an 8-year-old Lab/Pointer mix who is dog friendly, wonderful with people, potty trained, and full of life. She's energetic, loves to play, rides beautifully in the car, and is easy on leash. Most of all, Lucy is simply the sweetest girl who loves being with her people.
After everything she has been through, Lucy deserves to feel what it's like to be home again. If you can open your home to Lucy as a foster or would like to make her part of your family, please fill out an application at: www.labradorsandfriends.org.
Let's help Lucy trade her kennel for a couch and give this sweet girl the home she's been missing.
Lucy is located in Southern California.
