Notes from Rescue Ranch

Gentle Kate grew up with almost no human interaction. When she arrived at the Ranch, she was very timid and found it hard to open up and trust. Thanks to our amazing and loving staff who have been working with her and gaining her trust, Kate is ready to move on to her next adventure.

Kate is still very shy but she is also incredibly sweet. She'll need a special home where she'll be able to take all the time she needs to come out of her shell. Kate gets along with other dogs, even small dogs, and might do well with a canine companion to help her find her confidence. If your heart goes out to Miss

Kate, give us a call to meet her today.

Thank you for considering adopting a Rescue Ranch dog. While they are with us, each and every rescue dog receives the best of care in a loving and nurturing environment. Their routines include daily playgroups or partnering with dog buddies, quality time walking or being groomed, and two meals a day with dog biscuits for dessert.

Can't adopt right now? Rescue Ranch is looking for a foster home for Kate. Fostering is short-term, and the rescue usually covers food and vet care. Ask them about it.

What happens next

  1. Contact Rescue Ranch using the button. AdoptNearby does not take applications.
  2. They will send you their application or ask a few questions about your home.
  3. Most organizations arrange a meet, sometimes a home visit, then a small adoption fee that usually covers spay or neuter and vaccines. That fee is paid to Rescue Ranch, never to AdoptNearby.
  4. Read the dogs care guide so you arrive prepared.
