Notes from Rotten Rottie Rescue
This handsome boy is Storm. In July 2026, we rescued him from Casa Grande Animal Care, where this gorgeous boy sat for over a month after being found as a stray. We believe he is around 1 year old. Initially, storm has took a little time to warm up, but with each passing day, he became more and more curious and courageous. Now he can't get enough attention. He wants nothing more than to be right by your side. He is highly food motivated and will warm up to you in no time if you have his favorite treat on hand! He goes on our weekly pack walk does great. He has met other dogs and did very well with them. He even plays with a little frenchy in his foster home very well. We are learning more about Storm every day, but one thing is certain: he is going to make a wonderful companion. We are so excited to find his forever family and watch him blossom into the incredible dog we know he is meant to be! Adoption Process:If you are interested in adopting one of our fun-loving, "not-so-rotten" Rotties, you will be asked to fill out our adoption application which allows us to get to know you better. This ensures the dog you are interested in is a good fit for your family and lifestyle. You can access our Adoption Application by visiting our website at www.rottenrottie.com, clicking on Adopt a Rottweiler- Adoption Application, and submitting the form online. After reviewing your answers, if we feel the dog you are interested in is not a match for your family, we may recommend a different Rottweiler companion. Once we determine which dog is best for you, we will schedule a meeting at their current home, where they feel most comfortable and act naturally. We require a home check to ensure each dog is going to a safe environment. To finalize the process, an adoption contract must be signed. We also require a rehoming fee, which is typically $500 for most adults and $350 for seniors (6 years and older) or Rottweiler mixes of any age (excluding puppies). Fees for puppies fluctuate depending on the investment required for the litter and whether they are purebred or a mix. These funds are necessary for our organization to continue rehoming Rottweilers in need. All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped, and have tested negative for heartworms. Each dog comes with a collar and a leash. We also address any injuries or illnesses they had upon arrival or developed in foster care; any such conditions will be fully disclosed to the adopter prior to the adoption. Please Note: In almost all cases, we do not adopt to out-of-state applicants. On rare occasions, if we feel it is a PERFECT match for both you and the dog, we may make an exception for our neighbors in Las Vegas. If you live in Las Vegas and would like to be considered, please fill out our adoption application.
