Notes from Rotten Rottie Rescue

Meet Charolette! We just rescued this pretty little girl from the euthanasia list at Maricopa County Animal Care & Control. She was very scared in the shelter and needed out immediately. Thankfully a foster stepped up and she is sleeping soundly tonight. We don't know a lot of Charolette, but as she decompresses from her shelter stay and we learn more, we will update her profile. She will be going to board and train soon and we cannot wait to watch her flourish as her confidence grows! Check back soon for updates! Charolette will be available for meet and greets once she has had some time to decompress and we learn more about her. If you are interested in meeting Charolette or any of our adoptable dogs, please visit our website at http://www.rottenrottie.com and complete our adoption questionnaire. Adoption Process:If you are interested in adopting one of our fun-loving, "not-so-rotten" Rotties, you will be asked to fill out our adoption application which allows us to get to know you better. This ensures the dog you are interested in is a good fit for your family and lifestyle. You can access our Adoption Application by visiting our website at http://www.rottenrottie.com, click on Adopt a Rottweiler, Adoption Application, and submit the form online. After reviewing your answers, if we feel the dog you are interested in is not a match for your family, we may recommend a different Rottweiler companion. Once we determine which dog is best for you, we will schedule a meeting at their current home, where they feel most comfortable and act naturally. We require a home check to ensure each dog is going to a safe environment. To finalize the process, an adoption contract must be signed. We also require a rehoming fee, which is typically $500 for most adults and $350 for seniors (6 years and older) or Rottweiler mixes of any age (excluding puppies). Fees for puppies fluctuate depending on the investment required for the litter and whether they are purebred or a mix. These funds are necessary for our organization to continue rehoming Rottweilers in need. All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped, and have tested negative for heartworms. Each dog comes with a collar and a leash. We also address any injuries or illnesses they had upon arrival or developed in foster care; any such conditions will be fully disclosed to the adopter prior to the adoption. Please Note: In almost all cases, we do not adopt to out-of-state applicants. On rare occasions, if we feel it is a PERFECT match for both you and the dog, we may make an exception for our neighbors in Las Vegas. If you live in Las Vegas and would like to be considered, please fill out our adoption application.
