Sometimes, life takes an unexpected turn, and the people we love most have to make heartbreaking decisions.
Meet Hank, a handsome 3-year-old Australian Cattle Dog, also known as a Heeler, whose owner unfortunately had to enter rehab. With an uncertain future ahead, his owner wanted to make sure Hank had a better life and wouldn't be passed around from home to home while he figured things out.
That decision came from love. ❤️ Hank deserves stability, and his owner wanted to give him the chance to find it.
Now, we're looking for a special family who understands what makes this incredible breed so unique!
Here's what makes Hank such a catch:

Hank has a lot going for him! But as an Australian Cattle Dog, he's more than just a handsome face. Heelers are intelligent, energetic working dogs who thrive when they have structure, exercise, mental stimulation, and a job to do.
Hank needs an ACTIVE household that understands the breed. He's looking for someone who will take him on adventures, keep his clever mind busy, provide consistent training, and make him part of the family.
He isn't looking for a temporary stop. He's looking for his person — someone who will commit to him for the rest of his life, through the good days and the hard ones.
We can't change the circumstances that brought Hank into rescue, but we can help make sure his next chapter is everything he deserves.
