Notes from Canine Rescue Coalition

My name is Syracuse, and I’m a handsome male Cane Corso under 2 years old. Unfortunately, my owners abandoned me, and I suddenly found myself sitting in a scary shelter wondering what happened to my family and everything I knew. Thankfully, those days are behind me because AZ Mastiff Rescue came for me! ❤️ Now I’m learning what life is supposed to be like. I’m learning how to walk nicely on a leash, how to sit, and all those important manners everyone keeps telling me about. I’m still young, so I have plenty to learn, but I’m getting there! One of my favorite things about rescue life? I get food every single day. ❤️ I’m also learning that I really love having a routine and knowing what to expect. Right now, the rescue is still getting to know me, so stay tuned as my personality starts to shine and we learn more about what my perfect forever home looks like. My past may have started with someone walking away from me, but hopefully my future ends with someone saying, “You’re home, Syracuse.”

What happens next

  1. Contact Canine Rescue Coalition using the button. AdoptNearby does not take applications.
  2. They will send you their application or ask a few questions about your home.
  3. Most organizations arrange a meet, sometimes a home visit, then a small adoption fee that usually covers spay or neuter and vaccines. That fee is paid to Canine Rescue Coalition, never to AdoptNearby.
  4. Read the dogs care guide so you arrive prepared.
