Notes from Forever Friends Humane Society

Meet Gabby, a sweet, calm and loving 1½-year-old girl who needs a foster or forever home.

Gabby was seen being abandoned by a dumpster and spent four days roaming the neighborhood before a kind young man brought her to safety. He is temporarily fostering her, but he cannot keep her much longer.

Gabby is potty trained and does well in a crate. She needs a home without cats. Male dogs only may be considered, with introductions required to make sure they are a good match.

This loving girl has already been left behind once. Please help her find the safe, loving home she deserves.

What happens next

  1. Contact Forever Friends Humane Society using the button. AdoptNearby does not take applications.
  2. They will send you their application or ask a few questions about your home.
  3. Most organizations arrange a meet, sometimes a home visit, then a small adoption fee that usually covers spay or neuter and vaccines. That fee is paid to Forever Friends Humane Society, never to AdoptNearby.
  4. Read the dogs care guide so you arrive prepared.
