Notes from Arizona Golden Rescue

BEAR is available! *NOTE: 26-071 Bear and 26-072 Barkley will be placed TOGETHER as a bonded pair!

26-071 Bear is an intact 4-and-1/2-year-old male Golden Retriever. He was surrendered with his half-brother 26-072 Barkley, a 4-and-1/2-year-old Golden Doodle. They have been together since they were 8 weeks old. Bear is described as quiet, timid, shy, loveable and a cuddle bug. Both dogs are very strong and will need serious leash training. AGR will take care of the neuter.

If you are interested in adopting this dog or any other available AGR dogs, and want to know more about the process, please click here. Note: WE DO NOT ADOPT OUTSIDE OF THE STATE OF ARIZONA. What happens next

  1. Contact Arizona Golden Rescue using the button. AdoptNearby does not take applications.
  2. They will send you their application or ask a few questions about your home.
  3. Most organizations arrange a meet, sometimes a home visit, then a small adoption fee that usually covers spay or neuter and vaccines. That fee is paid to Arizona Golden Rescue, never to AdoptNearby.
  4. Read the dogs care guide so you arrive prepared.
