Duchess
German Shepherd Dog / Mixed · Adult · Female · Large · Tucson, AZ
Notes from Tucson Cold Wet Noses
Say hello to the sweetest Duchess! This beautiful 9-year-old Shepherd mix is looking for her forever home.
Duchess previously lived with a Husky, and I think having a canine companion could be a great fit for her. She’s currently living with a small, opinionated senior dog and is doing great.
Like many Shepherds, Duchess has some hip issues and takes a few medications to help keep her comfortable and moving well. As a foster, her medications and food are also covered. She doesn’t let her discomfort stop her from being a sweet, loving Shepherd.
And one important thing to know about Duchess: she loves to howl sometimes. So apartment living probably isn’t going to be her thing, unless you and your neighbors really enjoy Shepherd concerts.
Duchess is spayed, microchipped and up to date on vaccines. Her adoption fee is $275, with an additional $21 for PACC licensing.
If you’re looking for a sweet, older girl who deserves a soft place to land, Duchess would love to meet you. If you’re interested in fostering this special girl, please fill out a foster application at www.tucsoncoldwetnoses.com
