Notes from Canine Rescue Coalition

Meet Bowser

This sweet, handsome boy came to us all the way from Illinois after being abandoned in a basement with a cat, a rabbit, and a female dog named Luna. By pure luck, we had volunteers close enough to help, and Bowser and Luna were able to make their way safely to Arizona.

Bowser came in covered in fleas, but even after everything he had been through, he was still so happy to be saved and so grateful to have people around him. He is truly a giant puppy with a sweet, loving soul.

Bowser is under 2 years old, female dog friendly, and most likely would do well with cats or small animals with proper introductions. He is still working on leash manners and will do best with someone ready to give him love, structure, and guidance.

Bowser is looking for a forever home or a Foster To Adopt family. Could this handsome boy be the one you’ve been waiting for?

What happens next

  1. Contact Canine Rescue Coalition using the button. AdoptNearby does not take applications.
  2. They will send you their application or ask a few questions about your home.
  3. Most organizations arrange a meet, sometimes a home visit, then a small adoption fee that usually covers spay or neuter and vaccines. That fee is paid to Canine Rescue Coalition, never to AdoptNearby.
  4. Read the dogs care guide so you arrive prepared.
