Notes from Forever Friends Humane Society

PLEASE NOTE: This dog is courtesy posted for another individual or Rescue. Different policies and fees may apply.

Brutus is a loving 5-year-old boy who has been waiting in boarding since March 2026. He once had a home, and he deserves to feel safe, loved and chosen again. He needs a foster or adopter to help him leave kennel life behind.

Brutus is affectionate, loyal and gentle. He is neutered, vaccinated, house trained and crate trained. He walks great on a leash and loves playing fetch.

Brutus would do best as the only pet. No small dogs or cats.

Located in Phoenix, AZ. Please give this sweet boy a chance at a home again.

What happens next

  1. Contact Forever Friends Humane Society using the button. AdoptNearby does not take applications.
  2. They will send you their application or ask a few questions about your home.
  3. Most organizations arrange a meet, sometimes a home visit, then a small adoption fee that usually covers spay or neuter and vaccines. That fee is paid to Forever Friends Humane Society, never to AdoptNearby.
  4. Read the dogs care guide so you arrive prepared.
