Notes from Out Of The Woods Dog Rescue and Referral

Meet Cowboy - a pocket-sized ball of love! Cowboy weighs in at 35 pounds and is around 8 months old and is not expected to get much bigger. His beautiful blue eyes, distinct ears, and spotted chest are only a few of his lovely features.

Cowboy had a rough start to life - he was found digging in the garbage and was very sick from starvation and worms. We have nursed him back to health and taken care of the rest of the vetting so we can focus on his training. We think Cowboy may have spent his former life chained up outside. We have focused on house manners and leash training and are working to get him crate trained. Being a puppy, Cowboy loves his bones and toys and requires many of both to keep busy. He gets along well with dogs, but probably needs a slow introduction to confident cats only. We think Cowboy would make an ideal family pet.

Cowboy wants to cuddle you!! Come meet him and see why he should be part of your family.
