Lucille is a tender-hearted 1-year-old Australian Shepherd mix who is ready to find her forever family. Having been lovingly cared for by a wonderful couple since birth, she is accustomed to gentle handling and human affection.
While she can be a little shy when first meeting new people or encountering unfamiliar places, her natural curiosity shines through quickly. Once she realizes she is safe, her sweet and gentle personality blossoms, and she warms up in no time.
Because everything outside of her foster home will be brand new to her, Lucille will need a patient family willing to give her a little time to adjust. In return, she promises to shower you with loyalty and affection, making her an absolute treasure of a companion. She also gets along wonderfully with other dogs, making her a great fit for a multi-dog household or a furry playmate.
