Meet Zebee: 15 Pounds of Love, Zero Personal Space

Zebee is a small, adorable sweetheart with a very important job: following you everywhere. Bathroom trip? She’s on the team. Getting a snack? She’s your assistant. Sitting down for two whole minutes? She’s already in your lap—or at least monitoring the situation closely.

At about 15 pounds, Zebee is perfectly sized for cuddles and expert-level shadowing. She’s incredibly sweet, loves being near her people, and believes “personal space” is just a phrase humans made up.

She also has a big voice for a little dog. Sometimes Zebee lets out a scream so dramatic you may briefly wonder whether she’s auditioning for a canine soap opera. Rest assured, she’s just expressing herself—with *feeling*.

If you’re looking for a loving little sidekick who’ll make you laugh, keep you company, and narrate the occasional situation at full volume, Zebee is ready for her starring role in your life. Adoption includes one adorable dog and an enthusiastic shadow.

What happens next

  1. Contact Alaskan Animal Rescue Friends using the button. AdoptNearby does not take applications.
  2. They will send you their application or ask a few questions about your home.
  3. Most organizations arrange a meet, sometimes a home visit, then a small adoption fee that usually covers spay or neuter and vaccines. That fee is paid to Alaskan Animal Rescue Friends, never to AdoptNearby.
  4. Read the dogs care guide so you arrive prepared.
