Notes from Humane Society of Portage County

Friendly, chatty, and curious - Harley is ready to explore your home and be your new best bud! Harley is an outgoing guy who loves to greet everyone who walks by. He's looking for a home who can respect that he sometimes like to be independent and sprawl on his own, while also stopping by for a quick cuddle session. Harley is afraid of men and does not like to be around them. It's strongly recommended that Harley have a home without men. --- Harley is a 5-year-old short-hair male. His adoption fee is $55. If you are interested in adopting a cat from HSPC, please complete our adoption application. Approved applicants will be contacted within 3 working days for an appointment. We operate by appointment only. Our online application can be found at: https://hspcwi.org/adopt/ All cats adopted through HSPC are spayed/neutered, microchipped, FeLV & FIV tested, and receive core vaccinations (younger kittens may not be fully vaccinated due to age). If you have any questions or concerns, please email the Cat Adoption Manager at adoption@hspcwi.org We look forward to introducing you to your new cat!

What happens next

  1. Contact Humane Society of Portage County using the button. AdoptNearby does not take applications.
  2. They will send you their application or ask a few questions about your home.
  3. Most organizations arrange a meet, sometimes a home visit, then a small adoption fee that usually covers spay or neuter and vaccines. That fee is paid to Humane Society of Portage County, never to AdoptNearby.
  4. Read the cats care guide so you arrive prepared.
