Notes from Humane Society of Burnett County
Sweet with a little extra frosting of sass, Cake is a beautiful 1-year-old girl with a big personality. She's a chatty cat who loves to tell you all about her day and will happily carry on a conversation if you're willing to listen. Cake enjoys attention and being around her people, but she's also confident about setting her own boundaries. She prefers affection on her terms and isn't a fan of being picked up or handled unless she's the one who initiates it. Once she trusts you, she'll let you know exactly when she's ready for pets and companionship. Cake would thrive with someone who appreciates an independent cat with plenty of personality and respects her need for personal space. If you're looking for a fun, vocal companion who keeps life interesting and loves being the center of attention, Cake might just be your perfect match! If you would like to meet me, please visit our website and complete the pre-adoption application. Once it has been processed then we can make a date to get together! All cats are spayed/neutered (deposit required if too young), vaccinated, dewormed, flea and tick treated, microchipped and more before adoption. Our adoption policies include: Application, Vet reference, Landlord approval & Criminal Background Check. HSBC has a policy of not declawing, which is included on our Adoption Contract. We do not do same day adoptions. We request that you call for an appointment after your application has been approved to come and visit the cat of your choice. Please visit our website for additional information. The online application can be found at: https://hsburnettcty.org/adoption-application/
