Notes from Regional Animal Services of King County
Hi! My name is KP and I am available for adoption!
I am a beautiful cat who loves to make muffins and smurgle on blankets. My caretakers say it is quite adorable.
I am an older gal that can get overstimulated with petting. I like head pets, but please be mindful of petting me anywhere else.
You can visit me at the Pet Adoption Center on weekdays from 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm, Saturdays and Sundays from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm.
The Pet Adoption Center is located at 21615 64th Ave S, Kent, WA 98032.
Come and visit me today, I'd love to go home with you!
Your new pet received a basic physical exam, in addition to routine vaccines, deworming, and topical flea preventative, if indicated. Although your new pet is ready for adoption, there is always a possibility of additional medical conditions that have not been detected or may develop in the future. Current medical conditions are noted below.
1) URI - this cat arrived at the shelter with eye discharge and sneezing/congestion. We suspect she has an upper respiratory infection. She has been started on eye meds and oral antibiotics. Please follow up with your regular vet for diagnostic and treatment/management recommendations.
2) Dental disease - this cat has moderate dental disease. Please follow up with your regular vet or veterinary dentist for any treatment/management recommendations.
3) Gallop rhythm - this cat has an arrhythmia. This may be benign/stress related, due to systemic illness, or underlying heart disease. Please follow up with your regular vet or veterinary cardiologist for diagnostic and treatment/management recommendations.
4) Underweight and dehydrated - this cat arrived at the shelter mildly dehydrated and slightly underweight. This may be due to malnutrition or systemic illness. She has been eating well. Please follow up with your regular vet for diagnostic and treatment/management recommendations.
What happens next
- Contact Regional Animal Services of King County using the button. AdoptNearby does not take applications.
- They will send you their application or ask a few questions about your home.
- Most organizations arrange a meet, sometimes a home visit, then a small adoption fee that usually covers spay or neuter and vaccines. That fee is paid to Regional Animal Services of King County, never to AdoptNearby.
- Read the cats care guide so you arrive prepared.
