Notes from Regional Animal Services of King County
Hi! My name is Zulu and I am available for adoption.
I was brought to RASKC on September 28, 2026 with three of my siblings after we were apparently found in a crate near 7/11.
I must admit I am quite fearful and shut down so you will not see my true colors while I am here.
Because of my shy nature, I would do best in a calm, quiet home without younger children (fast movements and loud noises startle me). When I go to my new home it is important to be patient with me and allow me time to acclimate to my new environment at my own speed. It is best to keep me in a smaller, quiet room, with my food, bed, and litterbox until I am comfortable and confident enough to start exploring the rest of my home.
The quickest way to my heart is food and gentle pets with a back scratcher under my chin :)
I am a spirited cat with a fun-loving personality! I may be sensitive to handling, so I would do best in a home with a cat savvy family who knows when to give me some space.

- Contact Regional Animal Services of King County using the button. AdoptNearby does not take applications.
- They will send you their application or ask a few questions about your home.
- Most organizations arrange a meet, sometimes a home visit, then a small adoption fee that usually covers spay or neuter and vaccines. That fee is paid to Regional Animal Services of King County, never to AdoptNearby.
- Read the cats care guide so you arrive prepared.
