Notes from Regional Animal Services of King County

Hi! My name is Bumper and I am available for adoption!

This is what my foster has to say about me: "Bumper fills the typical big sister vibe; she speaks her mind when she doesn't like something. Even at her most scared, she has never bitten me. The key to her heart is churus and temptation treats. She and her brother have learned people aren't that scary. Once she feels comfortable she will stay around me and loves to watch everything I do. She does not like butt pats for her or her brother and being held upside down is a no no for her."

I am a bashful but playful kitten. I would love to go home with my buddy Muffler, we LOVE to wrestle and play together. We are a BONDED pair. We take our ques from each others to help us decide what is safe and what is fun.

We aren't affectionate cats right now, and will need the right people to love us and give us time to adjust to our home lives. We might come to seek affection on our terms, but food and play are the fastest ways to our hearts.

I'm currently in a foster home, please fill out a foster interest form for the chance to meet me! To find that form click the "read about our adoption process" link then "foster path" link!

What happens next

  1. Contact Regional Animal Services of King County using the button. AdoptNearby does not take applications.
  2. They will send you their application or ask a few questions about your home.
  3. Most organizations arrange a meet, sometimes a home visit, then a small adoption fee that usually covers spay or neuter and vaccines. That fee is paid to Regional Animal Services of King County, never to AdoptNearby.
  4. Read the cats care guide so you arrive prepared.
